We can control the client user interface using Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager in terms
Of what permissions the user will have on the client.

1. Open the Symantec Endpoint Protection manager console.
2. Login using user and password.
3. Select "clients" On the left pane.
4. Open the (+) under "Location-specific Settings".
5. Look for the row with the title “server control".
6. Click "task" and "edit settings" in the end of the row.
7. By default the "server control" is marked under "client user interface control settings".
8. Click "customize".
9. on General tab you can Display\disable the client icon and notification area.
10. Also you can control "network threat protection" and "intruder prevention notifications".
