comments in excel is a great feature for show and hide remarks or data that we need to explain to people that needs to read the worksheet.

Microsoft excel let the user decide what and how to paste cells in another worksheet or on the same worksheet, by using the PASTE SPECIAL option.

In order to copy the entire cell (data,values,formula etc):

  1. Mark the cell or cells needed to be copied.
  2. Right click
  3. Mark the destination cell or range of cells.
  4. Right click < Paste Special.
  5. Check the “ALL” option in the list box In thePaste Special dialog box.
  6. Click OK

In order to copy only the comments from a cell:1.Mark the cell or cells needed to be copied.

  3. Right click < Paste Special.
  4. Check the “COMMENTS” option in the list box In thePaste Special dialog box.
  5. Click OK
