Part of a security policy in some places, disabling the windows operating system hidden share is needed. In order to make it without using any 3th party tool, you have to change registry value or use group policy ADM template. Hideen shares stands for all the %latter% $ we know from Microsoft operating system like C$, \\%servername%\%sharename% $ and all other hidden shares.
Editing registry is a little dangerous so make sure you backed it up.
